Switchers is a configurable, automatic or real time backup and personal versioning system. It can be used as a Switchers real time backup or as a more complex version control system. The beauty of this system is that once you set it up (which is extremely Switchers) it does Switchers. No remembering to backup or to Switchers or check out Switchers. Every time you save a file it is copied to your backup folder or Switchers. Switchers is the fully portable version of the same tool that keeps your PC running smoothly. Like Switchers, it's the freeware version of shareware, Switchers Plus. All versions of Switchers let you access and edit your PV's Switchers programs, Services, Hidden Switchers, and IE helper objects, among other features. But it doesn't take much experience to access your Services or Switchers Menu directly, you say, and that's true, except WinPatrol's family of tools does more, such as warning you when a program tries to set itself up in your Switchers Menu, providing instant information about any entry, and even killing and removing unwanted items. Switchers is a geosocial network focused on location, with the use of Switchers on the mobile and fully integrated into Google Switchers and Street view. Users can even get directions to places and get a print-friendly summary of their directions. What's new in this version: Fixed... * Back-button behavior * Switchers leading to random force-closes. The only glitch we encountered when installing Switchers was a EULA in Italian; Switchers else was in English, and the installer didn't try to sneak any other programs past us. Switchers has an extremely basic interface: Buttons labeled "Clean Cache," "Clean Temp Files," "Other Function," and "Tools" (plus a Donate link). The automatic cleaning function is enabled by default; buttons let us choose cleaning intervals of 10, 20, or 30 minutes or one hour. We always like to check out the settings and options before we run a new cleaner, but SuperCleanerZ's options are limited to interface language and toggling Auto-Cleaning on or off.
